Tim Tsai is a full-time investor currently living in Edmonton, AB. He began his real estate career as a Rich Dad/Legacy student in 2010 and has been the advanced trainer for Lease Options in Canada.

With years working in the corporate environment and experiences in running other traditional businesses, Tim knew there had to be “smarter” ways to generate income and create long-term wealth.

After attending Rich Dad Education’s 3-day basic training, he decided to take his financial future into his own hands with the enrollment of their largest training package. After a few core courses, Tim received a boost from mentorship and said “that’s when life really got put on the fast track!” As a result, he was able to not only pay for his entire training tuition with his 1st deal but also successfully exited the rat race 2 years after his first training.

In the past few years of his real estate investing career, Tim has worked in various Canadian and US markets using a variety of strategies – income properties in single- and multi-family units, lease options (both residential and commercial), bridge financing, rehab, wholesale, infill development, and mobile home parks, etc.

In 2017, with the network he’s built, Tim also started investing in the UK.

He began in September 2018 starting with an initial investment of $50,000, with holdings in Windsor and Toronto and now has over $2mil assets under management, generating over $125,000 in yearly revenue.

At 24 years of age, Austin has used his unique investment strategy to grow his real estate portfolio to over 7 properties. Austin started exploring the world of real estate investing after reading the classic book, “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki. At the age of 23, he purchased his first property in Windsor, Ontario without having the right systems, teams, knowledge, or education in place. 

Putting his entire life savings in the investment, as well as borrowing money from his mother, father, and girlfriend, made Austin’s first real estate investment an extremely stressful experience.

Although the deal was still profitable, Austin learned from the mistakes he made in his first investment and decided to spend hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars building his real estate IQ with the help of some of the most respected Canadian real estate investors.

Fast forward and Austin has spoken in front of an audience of over 300 investors at one of the largest real estate conferences in Ontario and has founded the RISE Network which has grown to over 300 members and has attracted over 70+ attendees in the monthly events.

Successfully Managing Real Estate Investments From Out of Town



Jared Henderson was born and raised in Montreal but started investing in Niagara Falls in 2012 by purchasing 2 condo conversions. Since then, he has nicely grown his portfolio to 6 properties in Hamilton, St Catharine’s and Peterborough.

Today, Jared’s portfolio consists of student rentals and some duplexes. Being from out of town, he relies on his property management team to take care of his properties and it allows him to spend only 10-20 hours per week on real estate.

Mat bought his first investment property on his 22nd birthday. This purchase marked a major turning point in his life, giving him the confidence he needed to quit his job and start his own renovation company strictly for other investors. Mat’s innovative renovation methods for saving client’s money set him apart from his competitors and earned him the respect of many local investors, allowing him to build strong relationships and connections with them.

Dave is a long term student of the financial markets. His work in understanding trading, investing and financial markets are on-going and evolving, having been initially introduced to trading around the year 2000, but more seriously since 2006/7.
