This is the 50th episode of the podcast. The REITE Club was founded 3 years ago to bring people together to provide education on real estate investing. There were also no clubs of really great value that were in the Burlington/Hamilton region. 

This episode dives into how The REITE Club got started and how the founders met each other and where it is going. There were only 101 attendees at the first event and now there are over 200 attendees.

The REITE Club is a great resource for attendees as there are accountants, lawyers, contractors, insurance brokers etc. in the room and there are various stages of investors from just getting started to investors who have done $10 million dollar development deals.

The mission statement for The REITE Club is “Come Grow With Us” and because of this, there have been many friendships and networks built just by being a part of the club.

The Tales of Cross Border Flipping & BRRRs



Across the Detroit River Savio is known as “Canadianflipsdetroit”, at home, he is known as “realestateinvestorsav”. In 2018, He netted a profit of $110,000 through flipping in Detroit, of which he shared almost $50,000 with his partners. This was done by purchasing off-market neglected houses and converting them into beautiful single-family homes. His experience there was enriched by, being robbed, sued by a contractor, suing the city, befriending immigration officials, working with city inspectors to name a few of his adventures and he’s still here to tell the tales.
