Guest: Greg Offner, Public Speaker and Mentor

Greg Offner speaks and facilitates workshops on micro-disruption and creativity. Attendees are transformed and entertained because aside from his 16 years as a sales executive, Greg also spent 12 years as a duelling piano bar player. Entertaining audiences on 3 continents taught him something about creating a memorable experience.

In 2015 Greg’s vocal cords were so badly damaged, that permanent and irreversible loss of his voice was just weeks away. Doctors said he had to have surgery on his voice to have any chance of recovery and they weren’t optimistic.

At that time, Greg was living two lives. By day, he was a corporate sales and insurance executive, a career he had thrived in for nearly 20 years. Outside of that suit and tie world, Greg entertained audiences of all sizes as a professional musician and duelling piano player.

Over the next 4 years, Greg would undergo 10 surgeries on his voice, each one requiring a long period of total silence post-surgery. During the silent, emotional roller coaster of recovery, he leveraged positive patterns like focus, resilience, attitude and disrupted patterns that no longer served him.

This set the foundation for the DisruptionLIVE process, and ultimately the framework of pattern disruption Greg speaks on with audiences and organizations around the globe.

You will learn about:
– Your big why
– Why done is better
– Decision making tips
– Micro Disruption
– Ways of managing your to-do list

Nancy Morris is a Business & Performance Psychology Consultant, Speaker and Author. She has 19 years of academics under her belt and is about to pursue a PhD. Some of her clients refer to her as an  “un-guru” – a no-nonsense specialist in translating the academic theories of business psychology and people development into actionable insight for the real world.

For almost 20 years, Nancy’s science-backed systems have helped thousands of solopreneurs and self-employed professionals (e.g./ lawyers, commercial and residential real estate agents) master the mind game of productivity, creating more consistent revenue and feeling more confident, focused and valuable at work.

Nancy’s real difference is that she doesn’t float on a cloud with idealistic platitudes or arrive on a stage with fireworks and empty hype. She delivers proven, science-backed advice and ongoing strategy in a system that simply works. She is the same person out at the pub and behind the podium. She is not about pantsuits, long winded speeches or pie-in-the-sky ideals. Instead, she cracks jokes, gets vulnerable, doesn’t pull any punches, and says what you need to hear and how you need to hear it while laughing along as your outcomes are improved.

In this episode learn about:

– Longer term performance goals
– Stop, start and more of plans
– Goal getter gang
– Schedule your actions
